We do a lot of fun crafts and cosplay stuff when we aren't working. This is a selection of the coolest stuff we've been working on. Some are for sale, if you are curious.
This was a fun build. Shoes were $3 WalMart specials, the phaser was completely built using the 3D printer behind Jerry, and all the other parts are craft foam, printed elements, and paint. The shoulder armor is held onto the shirt with carriage bolts through the shirt, and the collar is sewn on.
I printed a reproduction firearm for a cosplayer that was cosplaying from The Expanse. Completely printed using my Ender 3, this involved white, black, and silver filament, and some custom stickers for the gun. Then, added a red cap to the barrel for safety.
An easy cosplay, this is a military Nomex jumpsuit, with hand-sewn patches to simulate the character Amos Burton from The Expanse. For cosplays, I also added the tattoes.
We can our own food sometimes, and this is a big favorite. Basically, slice fresh New Jersey jalapenos and can them with a sweet sauce. Good on everything- eggs, sandwiches, chili, and more. They also make good gifts.
Kerry makes a lot of cool blankets, and they are really soft and warm. This one was for Christmas. A lot of these can be purchased off her Etsy site.
